How to tell if an earthquake is coming

Sadly, we don't really know how to predict a earthquake. I have done a lot of research, but not many websites or books know how to predict one. But I have found a few ways to tell when one is coming:

1: If it is a big earthquake, you will feel very small rumblings.

2: If you have one, an earthquake alarm will go of.

3: Like Tom and William said before, some animals will sense something coming. If your dog, cat or bird (some very sensitive horses can feel the earthquake) runs away, scratches the door, rattles it's cage or kennel, starts acting weird, runs in circles or won't be quite, it means they have sensed a earthquake.

4: If you live by the beach, the waves will get bigger (until they are very large or turn into a tsunami.)

5: It is most likely (unless the earthquake is VERY sudden) that programs will be interrupted by the news to tell you about the earthquake.

6: You might see small land slides, puddles rumbling, rocks rolling or tall trees falling over.

7: Your TV might cut in and out of programs, or the picture or sound will go.
