I have found out the biggest earthquake ever recorded!!! It is very likely that, an earthquake that accrued in Chile in 1960, was (and still is) the biggest earthquake ever recorded! It measured 9.5 on the Richter scale and had so much energy (and need to destroy) that it is called the biggest earthquake recorded (ever!)
It is quite possible that there were bigger earthquakes in the past (and maybe now) but I guess we will never know....
