DID YOU KNOW?? The Richter scale was invented and developed by Charles Richter, in California in 1935. He was born April 26, 1900 and died on September 30, 1985. He was very interested in earthquakes their after shocks, and helped many professors as their assistant.
Who knows? One of you might end up inventing something like the Richter scale one day.....
